J-Ent: “The popular 1996 supernatural/witchcraft film ‘The Craft’ gets its first High Definition treatment and also one of the few film’s that gets Sony’s latest DTS-HD MA lossless audio treatment. Entertaining, freaky but yet cool, ‘The Craft’ is even more enjoyable on Blu-ray with its immersive lossless soundtrack.”

The Huffington Post: fairuza Balk has fun and Robin Tunney will be a draw for fans of the TV show The Mentalist. But it's Neve Campbell who anchors this silliness with by taking it all very seriously.

DVD Town: The audio is presented in anamorphic widescreen with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The 1080p transfer is relatively clean though the quality dips up and down throughout the film. For the most part, the image is soft and up close doesn´t look very well defined. Some of the day scenes come off much, much better while a few of the darker night scenes have a distracting graininess to it.

J! Ent: “The Craft” is presented in 1080p High Definition (1:85:1). For a film that was released in 1996, “The Craft” actually looks good for being nearly 13-years-old. The film is not exactly vibrant nor do you see tons of detail but the film does manage to retain the film’s grain and blacks are nice and deep. If anything, outdoor scenes manages to look nice, colorful and bright but for the most part, it’s a good transfer but nothing that would be scene as reference or spectacular.

In The Screening Room: Hey, You're Crazy Bitch: On the plus side, fairuza Balk puts in a great performance. Watching her flip on Skeet Ulrich’s character delights me as much now as it did when I was a surly teenager. Balk’s Nancy is driven completely mad by power and the performance is totally believable. Another plus is Neve Campbell’s curves.

Dan The Man's Movie Reviews: The Craft has an fresh performance from Balk, but the film can’t keep up with her due to the horrible amount of special effects, lackluster story, and no fun whatsoever with its writing. 2/10
